From PA Turnpike - (Route 276) Take Turnpike to Exit #326 (old Exit 24) Valley Forge. Immediately take first right and merge onto N. Gulph Road. Proceed approximately 1.3 miles to First Avenue.
From Route 422 East - Take First Avenue Exit to Hotel.
From I-95 - Take Exit 7 (Rt 476N) to Exit 16B, (Rt 76 W/Valley Forge) to Exit #327. Bear Right at first light onto Mall Blvd., Turn Right at next light onto N. Gulph Road and proceed approximately 1.5 miles to First Avenue.

ATTENTION EXHIBITORS
WHEN YOU SIGN THE ENTRY FORM, YOU AUTOMATICALLY AGREE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND AND WILL ABIDE BY ALL AKC AND ASC RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THIS SHOW
Any infraction of these regulations may result in an Events Committee hearing and suspension of all future show privileges.

The Exhibition Center will be open from 5:00 AM till 12:00 AM each day of the show. No one will be allowed in the Center between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM. Time your arrival accordingly. The dogs and equipment must be removed front the Center by Monday, January 11, 2010, 8:00 A.M.
The following show rules and regulations will be strictly enforced by the Show Committee or the Scanticon's Management or both as appropriate.
** Under AKC rules and regulations Puppies under 6 mo of age are not permitted on Show Grounds. This includes confines of the Scanticon Hotel and environs.
** Under ASC rules and regulations unentered dogs are not permitted on Show Grounds. This includes confines of the Scanticon Hotel - Space will not be provided for unentered dogs.
** No dogs of any age or BREED will be allowed in the sleeping rooms at any time.
** UNENTERED PUPPIES AND/OR DOGS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED at any time anywhere within the confines of the Valley Forge Convention Center. Entered dogs are restricted to designated areas only.
** Grooming and bathing of dogs will only be permitted in the Exhibition Center (tack room). All tack room space must be reserved. See back pages for information and procedures.
** Dogs are to be exercised in designated areas only and YOU are responsible for cleaning up after your dog.
** Coffee pots, crock pots, microwaves, etc. will not be allowed and may cause the electrical supply to be shut down.
A Strip will be permitted; however, it must have a Circuit Breaker, and if the Main Circuit is blown a charge of $25.00 will be be assessed to turn back on.
** Sanitary conditions must be maintained in the show area at all times. All exercise pens must be identified with the exhibitors name. Exercise pens must be kept clean, not doing so will be cause for the show committee to have them taken down. The ASC show committee will monitor the cleanliness of the show building and reserves the right to request grooming areas to be cleaned at any time as deemed necessary. Thank you for your cooperation. THE USE OF SAWDUST/CHIPS WILL BE ALLOWED. Only those exhibitors supplying their own plastic sheeting will be allowed to use sawdust shavings.
** NO SMOKING WILL BE PERMITTED IN THE TACK OR RING AREA. Smoking allowed in designated areas only.
** Matters requiring Veterinarian services will be the sole responsibility of the Owner/Agent. The ASC, (it's officers, board and Show Committee) will not be held responsible for other than providing information as to availability of such services.
** The welfare of an exhibitor's child is assumed to be the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that exhibitors will exercise control and restraint of their children while at the Valley Forge Convention Center.
** Any check issued to the American Spaniel Club that is returned for insufficient funds will be subject to a $25.00 penalty payment in addition to the original amount of the check.
Coffee and juice will be served in the tack area each morning through the generosity of the Nestle-Purina Company's Hospitality Fund allotment to the ASC.
* NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS *
CONSULT JUDGING PROGRAM FOR TIME OF JUDGING.
DOGS MAY ARRIVE any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. DOGS NOT REQUIRED for further judging will be excused.
JUDGES WILL NOT WAIT FOR ANY DOG HOLDING UP A CLASS. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. The Show-giving club and the Superintendent have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required.
ALL DOGS PRESENT must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring.
CLASS CASH PRIZES will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent to be advised at once. The Superintendent and Show-giving Club may disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over.
THE SHOW COMMITTEE/SUPERINTENDENT will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, nor assume any liability in the event of an accident or misfortune to either dogs or exhibitors participating in this show.
